Cootamundra-Gundagai Recreation Needs Study

Sport, Recreation & Open Space Planning

Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council is seeking to understand the current and future recreation and sporting needs of their community. A recreation needs plan will provide strategic direction for sport & recreation over the next ten years.

The project has five key stages including:

Stage 1 –  Background Research & Trends Analysis
Stage 2 – On-Ground Familiarisation, Community & Key Stakeholder Engagement
Stage 3 – Issues & Options Discussion Paper
Stage 4 – Draft Needs Assessment
Stage 5 – Final Needs Assessment

Community workshops and recreation audits will include the villages of Coolac, Adjungbilly, Stockinbingal, Muttama, Nangus, Wallendbeen, Tumblong along with the regional centres of Gundagai and Cootamundra.
