The key project requirements were to:
- Conduct an audit of existing formal sport facilities (Council & non Council) and their current and projected use within the Western Adelaide region.
- Provide a recommended, complementary strategic approach for sporting facility provision within Western Adelaide.
- Provide an overriding vision for financially sustainable sporting facilities within the Western region of Adelaide that highlights Local and State Governments commitment to catering for sport and active recreation for the western suburbs of Adelaide into the future.
