Baseball SA and Softball SA are working together with Tredwell Management to prepare a Statewide Facility Audit and Facilities Strategic Plan.
This project will:
- determine current facility provision, facility standards and participation trends
- provide facility mapping and demographic overlays
- identify specific areas for growth including both men’s and women’s competitions and expansion in country/regional zones
- highlight the need for community based, family-welcoming hubs for both sports
- inform the development of a business case/model for future sustainable facility developments
- provide a long-term prioritised strategic action plan to improve facility provision and participation in baseball and softball
- provide a key strategic document for discussions with key stakeholders including local and state governments, member clubs and
associations which can assist in accessing grant programs
