To be closer to family, our landscape architect and consultant Aidan Power, previously based in Melbourne, has recently relocated back home to Auckland, New Zealand. This prompted us to establish our New Zealand Office in a prime location within Auckland’s CBD, offering stunning views of Auckland Harbour and the city skyline.
With Aidan’s extensive knowledge of New Zealand’s landscape and environmental context, we are excited to leverage this expertise to engage with New Zealand’s exciting and world-class sport and recreation industry and explore opportunities with government, peak bodies and the private sector to spread our vision of ‘connected, happy, active people’.
Drawing from our experience in completing many hundreds of sport, recreation and open space planning, trail planning, aquatics, and extreme and hard to locate sporting projects in Australia, we aim to utilise our experience in the development of comprehensive strategic plans, master plans, business cases, feasibility studies, and needs assessments to benefit communities of New Zealand.
We have expanded rapidly across Australia over the past few years, driven by the increased demand for improving sport and recreation facilities, trails and open spaces across the nation and hope to continue our growth here in New Zealand by creating more active and connected communities one project at a time. There has been strong recognition by all tiers of government of the importance of getting people active to improve physical and mental well-being.
Please take a moment to explore a selection of our recent projects showcased below, along with the significant benefits and key findings they have delivered and yielded.
We welcome projects of any scale and location and should you have a project in mind, please reach out to us through our website at www.tredwell.co.nz.
