Exmouth Water Park Business Case

Aquatics, Master Planning

The aim of the project was to develop a Business Case for the renovation of existing water facilities plus the addition of proposed new water facilities in order to enhance the Shire of Exmouth’s Paltridge Memorial Swimming Pool with the intention that the overall facility will be upgraded to become a major local tourism attraction known as the Exmouth Water Park.

The Water Park development will offer a wide range of benefits to the community of Exmouth and the large number of visitors that come to the Shire each year, this is growing with the international border restrictions and is likely to continue to be an increasingly popular destination as Australians look to travel locally (intra and interstate).

A concept master plan option was prepared by specialist aquatic and leisure facility architects Donovan Payne. The concept design was developed following consideration of all site analysis  information, current trends, consultation feedback and guiding principles. This has created a highly considered master plan that will effectively cater for the Exmouth and its visitors for future generations to come.
