$1.07 Million Secured for Port Elliot Oval Changerooms
We are proud to announce that Alexandrina Council, Southern Breakers Soccer Club and Port Elliot Cricket Club have secured $1,070,000 in funding from the SA State Government through the Power of Her – Infrastructure and Participation Program.
Tredwell supported the project by undertaking the Port Elliot Oval Changerooms Redevelopment Needs Assessment, helping identify the infrastructure required to support the growing number of people using the precinct.
A Big Step Forward for Sport at Port Elliot Oval
Exciting improvements are on the horizon for Port Elliot Oval, with plans progressing to redevelop the changeroom facilities and better support the increasing participation across the precinct.
Tredwell completed a comprehensive needs assessment to guide the redevelopment, identifying requirements for modern, inclusive and future-ready facilities that meet the evolving needs of the community.

What the Redevelopment Will Deliver
The project will include:
• Refurbishment of the two existing changerooms
• Construction of two new purpose-built changerooms
• Female-friendly and universally accessible amenities
• Facilities designed in line with Football SA Venue Guidelines
Once complete, the precinct will feature four modern, inclusive changerooms, supporting the continued growth of women’s and girls’ sport, particularly football (soccer), and potentially cricket into the future.
This redevelopment represents an important step toward creating equitable, high-quality sporting facilities that support participation and community sport across the region.
