Golden Plains Tracks and Trails Strategy and Brochure Now Available
With more Australians exploring local destinations and outdoor experiences, the new Golden Plains Tracks and Trails Brochure arrives at the perfect time. Developed as part of the Golden Plains Tracks and Trails Strategy and Detailed Action Plan, the brochure showcases the many trails and outdoor experiences waiting to be discovered across the region.
A Strategic Framework for Future Trails
Tredwell Management recently completed a comprehensive Trails Strategy and Detailed Action Plan for Golden Plains Shire Council, providing a clear framework to guide the future planning, development and promotion of the Shire’s trail network.
The project was delivered in close collaboration with Council and aims to:
- Enhance recreational opportunities for the community
- Improve connectivity between trails and destinations
- Support tourism and local economic activity
- Encourage healthy and active lifestyles
As specialists in strategy and action plans, Tredwell assessed the region’s existing walking, cycling and multi-use trails, identifying key gaps, opportunities and priority projects. The Detailed Action Plan provides a practical roadmap to guide investment, development and implementation over the coming years.

This user-friendly and interactive brochure highlights a range of trails across Golden Plains Shire, providing helpful information including:

The brochure has been designed to make it easy for both locals and visitors to discover and explore the region’s outdoor experiences.
